Yesterday, I went to the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council thanks to a sponsorship from the board of trustees. Over 250 entrepreneurs attended to talk with investors, other entrepreneurs and service providers (us). Like many inventors, startups have a very limited amount of funding and need some bang for their buck, that is of course where we come in.
My favorite discussions were based around green technology and consumer business models. In clean tech the discussion split into three sections, long term, medium term and short term. Our previous work has focused in the short term, things we can develop right now to turn off electronics, make them more efficient and monitor energy usage. In the consumer business model discussion, we talked about contacts that can help a entrepreneur including Angels, VCs, partners and service providers.
